I bought it as a gift for me 8 year old niece, but decided to open it up and play with it before hand. It’s a good thing i didpros: it’s small & compact easy to use no need for the disc that’s included. Cons: the case it comes with is thinner than a regualr sock and half as protective. You have to purchase an sd card in order to use it,it wont allow you to take pics/video without it. It feels kinda cheap in your hand but i think it’s because it’s lighter than i had anticipated. Over all, easy to use, great for a kid or someone just looking for a cheap camcorder:) i would totaly buy this again for my niece or even as a cheap toy for myself. Buy an sd card and a case if you’ll need it adn it’s a great buy.
I got a really good deal on this camera. It was perfect for my 10 yr old daughter who loves to make videos.
I like this camera,it still has most of the features of aregular camcorder except this oneis able to fit in my purse almost likea cellphone. I am able do my stormcloud art with itby being able to take perfect picturesof wallclouds and supercells plus alsorecord the storms to capture themwhen they start to rotate. I recommend this camera to people thatwant to capture unique scenery especiallywhen it only last temperarily, butwill not be able to use the recordingmode of this camera in the dark.
Bought this for my 13 yr old daughter. I didnt want to buy an expensive one for obvious reasons. But we did notice that if there isnt enough lighting you cant see that well. Indoor recording has to bright. But its great for outdoor use as long as it sunny out. Not a bad buy, but not great. Basically you get what you pay for.
This was a gift for a 8 year old. She seems pleased with it, but i’m disappointed in the picture; any videos or pictures taken inside are quite dark, in comparison to other video cams i’ve had. It’s easy to use, and good for amusing a child, but if you really want to capture video for posterity, go for a flip video, or something of like quality.
It feels more like a cheap toy, but so it far has functioned fairly well, and mechanically it is pretty easy to use. My main problem is while it is easy to move between the video, camera and playback options the screen is very subject to glare and it is often diffcult to see what option the camera is set to, or what is actaully in the viewfinder when outdoors in the sunlight. That being said, you get what you pay for, and i actually think (since the the cost of this product is so cheap) that this product provides more than one would expect for the cost.
- VIDEO REVIEW — sample footage and photos
- Great back in the day didn’t have a camcorder.
- It’s cute.
This one is not registering in my memory. I will have to look around the list and see if i can find it.
Too many other units better features.
I purchased this camera for my 8 year old niece. The price is good for this camera. We haven’t printed or downloaded any pictures yet, so i can’t really answer on the picture quality. But for an 8 year old it cool.
I purchased this camera as a christmas present for my son and it arrived on time for christmas. While it doesn’t do well in low lighted conditions, it takes good pictures and videos for a first camera for an 11 year old. Overall we are very happy with this purchase.

I’m not going to say this is awesome, but i got it for my 8-year old son as a test, since the price was so ridiculously low. I bought a 4bg memory card for it. It doesn’t recognize it sometimes, but you turn it off and on and then it does. Not great quality of pics and video but what do you expect for this price?good enough for my sons to play around with, and they can view the videos on their tv or upload to youtube if they want. Great little gadget for this cheap.
I like the video part of the camera, but the pictures are not very good. Also they are missing one very important element in any camera. I have to use natural light to take a picture. Even disposable cameras have flashes. Other then that for the price it’s pretty nifty.Buy a better set of batteries the ones it comes with die pretty quickly, and make sure you buy a card.
Many years back, we used this for a vacation trip because we could not afford a camcorder at the time. It was great for our family of 3. It’s a very quick and easy way to video and in some cases, you can slip right in your pocket which is great when traveling or backpacking.
This is a good camera for backup i got this camera on 5/18/12 it worked until i used the tripod. The tripod port broke on the first try but liquid nails did the trick. Then @ 8 in the morning it started making a ticking noise. So now its a backup camera for photos.
i bought the snapp for my children as christmas presents. They were more inexpensive than the toy video camcorders and work quite well for the price. Filmingfor the video review, i filmed some sample footage and took photos in different lighting conditions to show what quality can be expected. I used the highest quality setting. Of course, it isn’t the best, but i wouldn’t expect it to be for the price. The children find it quite acceptable, and they figure out what its limitations are pretty quickly. Basically, use it under well lit conditions. The screen is small, like that of many toy cameras. It flips open so the children can see themselves when taking self-portraits. There is a zoom and hi/lo resolution settings.
Great supplier, camera works well, kind of grainy when reviewed, but prints out good pics.

For what it is, it’s not bad for 20 bucks. (it went up in price a bit since i bought it but it’s still cheap). It doesn’t have a light so you’re limited to mainly outdoor daylight video, or a well lighted indoor area. Keeping that in mind, it takes ok video’s for a $20 camera which i won’t care if i accidentally break it or lose it, so i take it more places than my regular videocamera. And it’s nice i can flip the viewfinder out to take my picture while i can see what i’m doing. The video’s are definitely not as good as my $800 videocamera with a built in hard drive, but for $20, a memory card will do, and the video’s aren’t too bad. But the resolution is lower than my videocamera. But knowing the limitations, it’s not bad for the price.
